In the US, it's usually safer to assume there's another city with the same
name some where. Usually there are several same-name cities in different
states.
Heck, in Michigan we've got one city named 'Grand Rapids' and another named
'Big Rapids'. Go figure that one.
<goes off to www.mapquest.com> This is amusing -- Mapquest shows five
places named 'Grand Rapids' in the US -- two of them in Michigan.
Mapquest reports six Redmonds in the US. ;)

No big deal; I think most US people would assume that if you're traveling
from another country to go to Redmond, you're going to be in Washington
State. Especially if they're reading that information on a computer.
