That's nearly right, but I have found a good way to take things apart without
destroying them:
Use an old fork (it might bend a little) and put it with some force behind
the wheel. Do it that way, that the plastic pin is lying in the gab between
two of the forks "needles". Then move the fork in a way to lengthen the plastic
pin. Suddenly it will come free and can be attached later again without any
problem.

That's of course the better way to do it. Best is to use the original part,
since you can recognise it from quite far because of its deep spookes. That's
what I do not like on 7750: the big wheels have no real spokes. They look to
flat and are missing this deepth.
