A few years ago, on RTL, Joshua D. posted a list of all "non-technic"
wheels. There was a fairly long thread and I believe the list was
complete. I think I saved that and will try to find it.
Unfortunately, I'll be on the road for the next 5 days, webless and
away from home, so I'll have to the research after that. Meanwhile
others can charge ahead....

| (...) I think you are just right. I assumed that they the same ones from the sets 8459/5561/8858 but now realized that they look smaller (actually narrower) when I recheck the picture of set 8446. (...) Those have some variations through Lego (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)
