The hardest piece I have ever removed was a 2x3 plate from a one brick high
basic baseplate. I actually had to resort to using my teeth, and I broke one
of the brackets on my braces trying, cement and all. That was a few years ago,
and I have since found a better way of removing pieces like that: (assuming
the piece is a plate) Take another plate of the same size and put it on top of
the stuck piece. Put your finger on one side of the stack of two plates, and
pull it off. It is then easier to separate the two same sized plates from each
other then from the larger piece; usually.
