  Re: Legowiki

-big snip- The only thing I can think of is goto the link listed below for more information. (URL) I believe the LEGO lawyers are aware of the problem of people using the company name 'LEGO' in the domain name. However there is not a big group of (...)   Re: Legowiki

(...) Thank you. I had hoped for more people to reply, but lugnet.general doesn't seem to be as populated as I had expected. Know of any other lego forums where I could post this idea to gauge feedback? (...) What kind of content would invoke the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Extra piece in set #3538?

I recently found most of a #3538 Gravity Games Snowboard Boarder Cross Race at a thrift store. The inventories at Peeron and Bricklink both show a Blue "Plate 3 x 2 with Hole" as part of this set. Where does it go? I cannot find any sign of it in (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Legowiki

(...) Good idea. Actually, I was thinking of the very same project under the very same name ;-). My primary goal was it to be a kind of Super-FAQ, kind of merging all the FAQs from different areas of expertise into one, and still maintain the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Some Word on Teaching Lego

(...) You aren't the only one to ask :-) Basically, many Universities have Youth Ed programs throughout the year and particularly in summer. Kids like the brick, so those classes are pretty high priority. I lucked into the job because of the Lego (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  LAY OFF THE GLUE!

LEGO, your products have been looking great for 2005. Improved Knight's Kingdom II sets. Viking sets. Designer sets. And now this wonderful chess set*. Don't kill it with glue. Everything about glue goes agaisnt what LEGO is about: building and (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general) !

  Re: Legowiki

So this will be detailed beyond what already exists in the WikiPedia? A full history of our hobby, and the current state of it? Or just information on building techniques and such? What other kind of stuff would you want to include in it? It sounds (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Fan Committee and BrickPortal

(...) Thanks, this was very helpful. As a relative newbie around here, I wasn't at all clear on what LEGOfan.org was all about. On a related note, I was also unsuccessful at finding an "About LEGOfan.org" link anywhere on the site. I would suggest (...) (21 years ago, 9-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Definitive list of LEGO Themes needed

(...) When I go to news.lugnet.com, I see exactly such a list, right under the dividing line at the top. Adventurers, Aquazone, Basic, Belville, all the way up to Znap. I figure, these categories have been used here for a few years and have worked (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Legowiki

I am thinking of starting LegoWiki, to be about Lego the company, Lego the brick, and Lego the community. A Wiki is a collaboratively created and edited site, where the content is released under a free license, such as the GNU Free Document License (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Musings on an open-source Brickshelf replacement

(...) Well our Gallery installation is "out of the box" so to speek. Unlike the forums and blog software the Gallery is just the standard software and that feed is generated by our site so I guess I don't know what they mean by the fact that it (...)   Re: Musings on an open-source Brickshelf replacement

Re: Musings on an open-source Brickshelf replacement

(...) OK, that's interesting. But does it really alleviate the concern, or just shift it to somebody new? I.e., who's running LEGOFan, and how do we know they won't lose interest/fall into a well/join the dark side/etc. years from now, or even next (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Musings on an open-source Brickshelf replacement
