Re: Spiderman Building with all the black steep slopes...

(...) Maybe there's room for a lugnet.spiderman group? I've posted this to admin.general for consideration... ROSCO (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Hey Gary, I had the exact same reaction, especially to this part: (...) toe" (...)   Local radio station having LEGOLAND promotion

A local radio station is having a promotion where you can get 3 general admissions to LEGOLAND California for $50 (Retail price $132). I don't think you have to be an AZ resident to qualify, so if you're interested go to (URL) purchase. There are 80 (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Quatro bricks

(...) I have these bricks, and I can say a kid is going to get hurt on them if they fall on them - sharp edges or not they will still do damage. I think the only bricks Lego has made that will not hurt if you fall onto them is the soft bricks they (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.quatro, lugnet.general)

  Re: New Quatro bricks

(...) They were made out of a softer plastic for three basic reasons, according to my Toy Fair showroom guide: less expensive parts (this is a big concern for toys that are really only intended for a very small age-range, since parents won't want to (...)   Re: New Color in Alpha Team

(...) I really wish trans-neon orange had never picked up the name "trans-orange", since this shade of orange fits much more appropriately with the other five basic transparent shades. There are even two trans-neon shades that are exclusive to the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

(...) I wasn't really counting that promo specifically because it didn't involve any manufactured plastic parts. Besides, not only was the promo restricted to playing cards, but they were actually produced by Upper Deck, not TLC, so I'm not sure how (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Spiderman Building with all the black steep slopes...

(...) Hey Gary, I saw the same photos you mentioned, and I am pretty sure they were made up just for the magazine. I dont see those as being sets anytime soon. If you look real close on the round window, you can see it is just strips of brown tape. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Spiderman Building with all the black steep slopes...

(...) Mike Case mentioned that same photo shoot here in this (URL) post>. Looks like they just used an employee's MOC as the backdrop for the shoot. I agree though, some of those creations would make excellent sets. Jason Spears | (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  New Quatro bricks

Hi, Just got set 5356, the medium sized Quatro bucket. And it's correct, the bricks are made of softer plastic (and they look VERY MUCH like MB's pre-school bricks!). In fact, the plastic is so soft, that the bricks have very little gripping power. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.quatro, lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

  New Color in Alpha Team

Hi, Just bought set 4742, new Alpha Team Jet Ski. As afterburners, there's the usual 1x1 round plates, but not in the usual transNEONorange, but a new transDARKorange - at least I think it is new, I've never seen it before. Arne, Copenhagen (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Spiderman Building with all the black steep slopes...

OK, I looked for a Spiderman newsgroup, but couldn't find one (like Harry Potter and Star Wars).... I have one of those "Lego Magazines" that previews the new Harry Potter and Spiderman sets. In that magazine I found an interesting building that (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Going to Legoland with Binoculars...
