  Re: What's next??

(...) I'm not sure if the BrickFest organizers have that in place. I'll defer this question to that group of hard working people. (...) Absolutely! I can't wait!   Re: Fast-paced photo montage (13,000 photos in 9 minutes)

Update; In VLC it works fine. VLC also has good functions for "Play faster" and "Play slower". I recommend it for anyone looking at video from their computer (including MAC): (URL) why I didn't try that first :) /Tobbe (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Fast-paced photo montage (13,000 photos in 9 minutes)

(...) :þ (...) Too slow :) Dunno exactly, but it should be fine. I can play DivX's with no problem. It might be a slow disk. Funny thing is that it freeze on identical frames each time (at least two times :). (...) Yikes! (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Fast-paced photo montage (13,000 photos in 9 minutes)

(...) There are a lot of frames that are practically identical from the train layout. (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: New MOC: Formula 1 Racer

(...) That's very impressive erik! Now all you need to do is make it in these colours :) : (URL) and the gallery: (URL) Oh, and if you could make it the same scale as yours, that would be awesome (I try and I try, but I cannot seem to do it... :( ) (...)   Re: What's next??

(...) Hi, Jake, How about a webcast for those who can't come? We european AFOLs would like to see, too, where the community is heading. Yours, Christian PS: Will you attend 1000Steine-Land in Berlin (Germany), too? (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

(...) They haven't been discontinued AFAIK (...) I'm not really interested in belaboring the point, but I think the message we should be sending our kids is that people should be treated equally, even though they are very different. Having only one (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: WorldLUG into public domain

(...) Hi Paul - I think there's significant interest to warrant you releasing your code on Sourceforge. Regardless of whether these features are implemented on LUGNET or as a part of a separate project, programmers could benefit from having a look (...)   Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

(...) ( here goes Ray making yet another offhand/foolish suggestion ) So, TLC appears to be getting into the groove of making things in varying colors (i.e. "Collect the Entire Set!"). So I think they should carry this to the next logical step... (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: WorldLUG into public domain

(...) Sure, it would be ideal to realize these changes under the LUGNET banner. I think we have a good promise of cooperation and support from Todd, and the timing is perfect to discuss this at BrickFest. Its too late to get a session on the event (...) In lugnet.general, Eric Brok wrote: (snip) (...) OOPS, I was wrong! Please take note the above statement is false. I was writing from memory and checked it when I got home.   Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

(...) I've always liked Steve Bliss's idea from 1998 or so: (URL) (As you can see from my reply there. *grin*) But I don't think they're going to do that. (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

(...) I think that's unlikely. It certainly *decrease* the appeal to me. That's obviously a small sample size, but I've been right before. :) (...) Possibly.   Re: Lore on Lego vs. Legos

(...) My favorite line from Star Trek: TNG when Pulaski refers to Data as Dah-ta and says "What's the difference?" to which he replies "One is my name, the other is not." -Brian P. Gefrich LEGO Pet Peeve Guy (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

(...) Why is going back not possible? If DUPLO can be revived, so can yellow figs (...) We may need to agree to disagree.   Re: WorldLUG into public domain

(...) I think Tim's idea to talk about this at BrickFest PDX this month is a great one. I do see the need for this WorldLUG concept--but I'm such a lazy guy that I really, really want the easy solution to work...to me, that solution involves using (...)   New MOC: Formula 1 Racer

Hi All, This is my newest MOC... (URL) When I make a new car, although ugly, I like to race it against others that I have made. Luckily for me, my driveway has a wonderful slope that levels out after about 20 to 25 ft. (I have not measured it) and (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)
