Re: Petition against permanent color changes

I agree that the new colors are great, but replacing current colors is a bad idea. Age: 30 (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

I don't mind new colors but I really don't like changing existing ones. It screws everything up! The point of collecting something is to continue adding to it, not having to start over again. I'm 21, and have been collecting Lego for 16 years. And I (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info

Well after reading a few of the posts (I found this just now, and I don't have time to read all of the posts so I apologize if I'm repeating what others have said), I have decided that while there could be some problems with the new colors there (...)   Re: And you call yourselves fans...

(...) Orion, I don't know what country you live in but here in the USA criticism is a god given right and "my old friend" has just desided to change it's color in order to sell more sets. We all know it's the darn color that is making people not buy (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: And you call yourselves fans...

Thank you for your profound post and for sharing your considerable wisdom, Orion! Truly you are in the know. And how right you were to start your own thread. It would have been such a WASTE if your astute comment would have been buried under all (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Not a bad idea :) (...) Really? You must've subscribed to lugnet.general kinda late then ;) (...) Yep, that's why many of us are acting this way.   Re: Changes to Brickshelf?

(...) Lenny, this dramatic change to Brickshelf is far more impacting than any of the other issues going on right now. It is horrid to not know who is making the MOCs that we are looking at. I'm the first in line to thank Kevin for all his work, but (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  LUGNET Question

Hi all, This question is more for the board from LUGNET. I would like to know when LUGNET started (year), why it started and how many members you count now. It's for my oldest son who will hold a 10 minute 'speach' in his schoolclass abouth LEGO and (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) And this isn't such a bad thing. The original thread is now so large as to be difficult to follow. (...) Let me share my point of view with you... speaking only for myself. I agree with you when you use the word 'whining'. I would go so far as (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: And you call yourselves fans...

(...) Only 100? I've read about 500 messages, most of which have been eloquent explainations of how this very subtle color change will cause problems for an apparent majority of LUGNETters. (Maybe you should read the other 400 and see what facts you (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

  And you call yourselves fans...

Instead of posting this message to all of the related threads, I decided to start my own... Ever since Jake announce the color change I've read about 100 messages whining about how LEGO has betrayed the fans. I say it's the opposite. I think (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

New SW Minis, Peeron, Colors, Thanks and Thoughts

Well, I'm sitting here in my hotel room in Bloomington after shopping for Legos. I have a lot I want to say and I hope people don't mind the long post, but I feel this is important. I have been an AFOL for 18 years now and loved Legos long before (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info

WOW!!! Just as my dark age without touching lego for weeks on end starts... THE WORTHLESS COMPANY CHANGES THE GODFORSAKEN COLORS!! That is cruel and unjust, you really mess up alot of people if you "replace" the greys. The greys are the backbone of (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf poll

(...) What interests me is the very similar levels of Type 1 vs Type 2. In a random population sample you would expect about 10 times as many Type 2s as Type 1s. Since Type 2 typically onsets in middle age or later whereas Type 1 is more associated (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Question about AC Nielsen surveys

(...) Yeah, same here. I tried this the other night with several sets I recently bought. Neither the setnumber, nor the number printed on the Nielsen page works. After 8 tries, I just figured "they" don't want my answers. /\/\ark "non o'my two (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
