Re: Petition against permanent color changes

Adrian Egli, 34 (in about a week) I just want to pass along a little story- It was 1979 and (I believe) I went to a K-Mart not far from my home to buy space set #452 Mobile Tracking Station ((URL)) and when I got it I discovered I just got my first (...)   Re: New Poll regarding new colors

(...) Great job James! The only "flaw" in this poll is that this change for the sake of change is not sitting well with non-Lugnet members either.-Ken (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Why I support LEGO through thick and thin.

(...) There are a few problems with your theories. You yourself make the perfect case. You played with LEGO a generation ago and you came back to it because it was still the same. Lego has of course growen. Growth is good. Sometimes growth equals (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Re: Grey element exchange program

(...) I'd rather send in my neo grey for true old grey bricks. I want grey not some pastel mega block mish-mash! (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

(...) Ahem. Only TLC going out of business is like TLC going out of business:-) (...) If something like a color palette change threatens to cast you into a Dark Age, then I must ask, "Where is your dedication?" We will survive this tragedy together, (...)   Re: Petition against permanent color changes

(...) These knights aren't a replacement for the castle theme. We haven't heard much, if anything, about castle figures in 2004. If you are referring to what Brad said at Lego World there simply was not "much" there at all. Nothing that could be (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Why I support LEGO through thick and thin.

(...) All I have to say is: I disagree. I will always support LEGO. I supported them through Bionicle and Galidor (ack!) and a little matter of color change won't stop me. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER LEGO!! Lord of the LEGO One Brick to Rule Them All! (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

(...) Oops, I knew there was another choice I should have put on there! (...) Your welcome. Although, do you think I should have dropped a couple of F-bombs in there? James Wilson Dallas, TX (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

Hello! (...) I'm not worried. I'm just disappointed. If those figures are "Castle" (and at least they are called "Knights' Kingdom" and not "Bionicle" oder "Galidor" or what else) I feel like TLC is kidding me. And those figures are different from (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

(...) Burkhard, what is it that makes you dedicated but John not? That he is willing to play well with new colors and you aren't? I just don't get it. Real life doesn't come in 3 shades of gray. The new colors will simply be another opportunity for (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

(...) The more likely solution is that our club will simply stop buying new track. If we decide to expand our layout, we will probably just borrow track from our members. (I'll lend all of mine if necessary.) When you consider the significant (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

(...) Why would anyone be worried about those Knights that look like Galidor figures (with studs for interfacing with regular LEGO bricks)? Did the Galidor line stop LEGO from producing (or re-releasing) this past year some of the best Castle sets (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Traumatic Events in the Life of a Lego Fan

It would seem to me that some color difference in a (...) (22 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Very Funny! I think everyone needs to chill out a bit, yes it is annoying but there's nowt we can do. I noticed your other posts on this in the other threads with amusement too.
