  More Megablok...

I don't get what the Lego Magazine's obsession is with featuring models made out of Megablok. (URL) not as bad as if it were a Megablok set, but still... And it was featured as the picture in a 'Set Reviewer contest.' -JHK (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Slightly different picts for #4731

(...) It's Malfoy Sr. (can't remember his name) Very well portrayed in the movie, and he had blond hair, just like his snotty kid. Dave K (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

  Slightly different picts for #4731

Was just telling a friend how I picked up several copies of #4731 (Dobby's Release) when I noticed that the picture on LUGNET was wrong. Compare: LUGNET: (URL) BRICKSET: (URL) minifig hair is black on LUGNET & blond on BRICKSET... the correct (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

Re: MISBI Lego Price Guide available NOW!

(...) Well-- I don't think I'd expect an exact price-per-condition guide. IE if I have a complete 6980 with decent pieces and a ratty 6080 that's missing some stuff, I could still guestimate given ranges. So if I see that 30 Non-MISB 6980's have (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: MISBI Lego Price Guide available NOW!

(...) If we take December 2002 as an example, there were approx 34,000 listings in the Lego category. Searching through the headings for keywords such as "MISB", "MIB", "UNOPENED" etc is straightforward and produces reliable results, whilst removing (...)   Re: MISBI Lego Price Guide available NOW!

(...) I specifically designed MISBI.com as an archive of Ebay prices and have no plans to "incorporate" data from other sources at this time. I accept that it would be beneficial to have the ability to "reference" additional data, in which case (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf Moderation??

(...) Yes he did ask for help (not a broadcast request, but he did ask individuals). Larry was one of the recruits. However, when things blew up over what was being moderated, and acusations of deleting content were flying, Kevin decided that if he (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Is the peeron news ticker having problems?

(...) yah - the problem is that it's scheduling (for reasons beyond my control) was done from my home machine. Yesterday we had our DSL disconnected (as DirecTV decided it doesn't make them enough money), so my home machine wasn't able to trigger (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bridge Elements Won't Click

(...) Hmmm. Mine (from 10045) have neither of those problems. The top "brick" section is hollow, as are the studs, with strengthening flanges up the sides, and they fit together side-by-side no worries, and no problem attaching plates to the top. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: There are smarter LEGO people out there than me

How high can you spiral 2 x 4 bricks?

Here's a challange that anyone can join: Start with a 2 x 8 brick, attach a 2 x 4 brick on it like so: (URL) add another 2 x 4 brick so that only one stud is attached to the 2 x 4 underneath it. Turn the new 2 x 4 so it touches the stud next to it, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: MISBI Lego Price Guide available NOW!

Hi Steve and all! (...) I think that this is a WONDERFUL source for Lego collectors or for those who want to start collecting. I think the only thing that I would like to know is why it has to be just MISB or MIB sets? Why can't it be any set (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf Moderation??

(...) If I recall correctly, didn't Mr. Loch ask for help with moderation when he originally set up the process? (or did his decisions for volunteer moderation arise some 'concerns' due to rivalry between certain parties?) Maybe I'm just being (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf Moderation??
