Last year around this time, people started spotting the 1998 Catalogues. I haven't seen any speculation on RTL or here about the 1999 Catalogues and it's October 20. Any ideas about why the delay? (...) Very few are willing. I work off set piece counts. After awhile, you probably won't really care (I don't anymore), especially if you start selling or trading pieces. I just say "10,000+" and that is about right, even though it might be closer (...) (26 years ago, 20-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

I was opening my silver bucket and realized I now have over a thousand new pieces that definitely belong to sets that I have. 1,459 pieces in 19 sets and 18 minifigs. I have probably over 3,000 pieces total but I really am not interested enough to (...) (26 years ago, 19-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)
