Re: The Vikings meet Medieval Cogs

(...) All well done. I know a guy who did the exact set of rules that you are looking for that were specifically medieval. They were for resin ships and metal minatures, but they should work for Lego (and I'll warn you that low Viking ships facing (...)   The Vikings meet Medieval Cogs

Sometime back I did 3 Viking Longboats: (URL) wanted to do some Castle, shore raiding and I have seen "The Vikings" many times and thought it would make a great BrikWars game. Recently I was watching the film again and thought about doing naval (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.pirates)

  QuikWars

Haha! I was just thinking it would be cool for me to think up some simplistic PBB wargame that I might toss out if I find things are slow at next week's OurCon at UMass (where I'll have a bunch of space stuff on display). As I was getting online to (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)

  Re: The Blue Menace

(...) Yeah, we want evil chickens! Seriously, this looks like a formidible force. Certainly something to be reckoned with. I personally like Jet-Eye Joe. I think he knows this friend of mine from georgia, Jed I. Night. lol -Lenstein (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)

  Re: The Blue Menace

(...) Well actually those people are mine, I got them at the Legoland in Denmark. Some day I will probobly create a sea monkey force that is unstopable. Just imagine a giant transport that looks like a whale, and then a cannon comes out of its mouth (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)

  Re: The Blue Menace

(...) Nik, Sweet stuff. Did you "borrow" all those toros from your dad? When are you going to make a sea monkey brikwars force? Hey you should bug your dad about a battle that (URL) Jason Catena> is trying to organize for May 2nd. Oh and where are (...) (21 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)

  The Blue Menace

Hi guys, I've just been lurking for a while, and my dad and I finally took pics of my first BrikWars army. Well here it is. (URL) He Hee>> (go ahead and click me, punk!) ...   Re: Medieval Sea Battles

(...) I'm not that familiar with Evil Stevie's but the whole thing looks fairly consistent and logical. I just had an idea about movement/weapon range - incorporating a probability factor into the calculations of weapon range. For example, a arrow's (...)   TL2 Roman Army

I've started a page for my TL2 Roman Army. So far it only has a legionary and a shield wall. I have a bunch of other stuff with stats to add when I construct them and take pictures: gladius, pilium, and standard bearer (troopers, simpler versions of (...)   Re: Interest in LEGO wargaming?

(...) That's fine. We could just reply in this thread when we've got something together worth fielding. (...) We could do castle vs. space in BrikWars *malicious grin*. I'd be fine throwing a bunch of my TL2 legionaries or samurai or whatever else I (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.us.il.chi, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Interest in LEGO wargaming?

(...) I'm probably less familiar with the rules than you are :-) I'd also have to spend a bit of time building up armies, so I suppose it wouldn't be for a little while. I don't have a lot of Castle or parts/figs that would be conducive for a TL2 (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.loc.us.il.chi, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Interest in LEGO wargaming?

(...) I was wondering whether there was a specific Sunday you had in mind, and what kind of armies you would like to field. I'm new to BrikWars, but I've been reading through the book and constructing some faux-Roman units. So far I have a small (...)   Re: Studfest [lots, probably 18. Hey that's quite a few for an Australian club!]

(...) I would personally love to attend another meeting at the Mittagong RSL. It was a great venue (parking, tables, access and food all good), and the location made the trip back to Melbourne vastly easier. How far from Sydney is it again? At least (...)   Re: Studfest [lots, probably 18. Hey that's quite a few for an Australian club!]

(...) Sounds like an entirely well thought out plan to me. Are there any takers for venue. I think James demonstrated most impressively how tons of space is not strictly required for a very fine fest. You're all welcome at my place, but I am a very (...)
