(...) I agree, but BrikWars doesn't have detailed rules for sailing ships. What I mean is, there are no rules I've seen for sailing. ~Clangador (21 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming)

  'Mech Damage Question

Hello, I have a question. I guess my other post on this didn't get thru. I played a game of BrikWars Sunday. We played 10 troopers and a singel 'Mech each. I'm using the Robitic Vehicles rules. The damage rules for 'Mechs seems kind of unclear. How (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

X-Pod Play Off Game error page

Hello all, I have been playing the X-Pod game (currently downloadable at (URL)) for a little over a month now, and it’s really fun. Unfortunately, there are a few errors in the game materials, some of which make gameplay quite confusing (and at (...)   Mecha Damage

Hello - I played my second game of BrikWars today. A simple game of 10 troopers and a single mech on each side fighting over a field with some stonewalls and trees. It went well. Several questions came up. Almost all of them about how mecha take (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming)

  BrikWars + ESPG game Meld

I know this may sound weird... Has anyone considered combining BrikWars and Evil Steve's Pirate game? ~Clangador (21 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Give him some prize money! (was: My First ESPG)

(...) Well, no. Dismasting a ship was probably the easiest way - the opposing ship couldn't manuever to make an effective broadside while you can. You don't do that with grapeshot. Further, grapeshot was only really effective from close range, and (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Give him some prize money! (was: My First ESPG)

(...) But that's braodly historically accurate. For most countries' fleets/ships/captains the whole point of shooting at an opposing ship was to disable it, board it and force the crew (or what was left of them) to surrender. For example, for the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

(...) I think it is too effective. I'll be giving it a range of 6" and -2 per 6” thereafter.   My First Pirate Game GMing

Yesterday I ran a small pirate game for a couple of my friends. It went pretty good. Each started with a class 2 ship. There were 3 large islands and half a dozen small islands. An imperial base and a neutral base. During the game, each captain (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

  Re: Is BrikWars Dead?

(...) Lugnet and Yahoo are fine, but gamelug is the one that's actually costing me money! But seriously, I was trying to make a joke, posting to a thread that was supposed to be about what a bad job I'm doing keeping my own website updated. - Mike. (21 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.gaming)
