John, are you getting married? By all means, man, take the summer off. We can live for a time without a GM, short time. I think that both Dan and John should take some time off. I too have been a little slow as I just finished moving across the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

(...) -snip- (...) Hendo, Many of us are taking absences (what a hard word to spell). The way I see it, Sectors can still be active even if you're not here. I don't want another GM, as you've been very good, understanding, and devoted. As said (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

(...) Thanks. I sincerely thank you for your condolences and sincerely appreciate it. Wednesday was her memorial service. It was beautiful; if she was there, she would've cried. I was going to jump this onto Dan's recent post, but I decided it would be impolite given the seriousness of his personal situation... Everyone: You might have noticed my own near-absense lately. Hi all, sorry to post another one of these hiatus things. For about two weeks I've been visiting the hospice where my grandmother was dying of cancer. (...) The RV rules are for the 2000 edition, and the (latest) rulebook is 2001. There were a bunch of changes between the two years, so I'm not surprised if you're hitting inconsistencies. Most of the RV rules got absorbed into the regular vehicles (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

(...) Nah, I think Chris is using the old RV rules from 2000, where robot brains were still worth something (RV.4.1). I don't see any reason why you can't combine a robobrain and other pilots, as long as the robot still has to follow a program (and (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

(...) I'd say "sorta". A "robot brain" is really a detrimental aspect of a trooper rather than of an actual vehicle, hence your vehicle with the simple "robot brain" addition would still have no Skill, thus being still sorta inanimate.
