Hi Jamie,
I think I solved the problem ... I found some high fire clay that had dried out
but wasn't fired, melted some lead into a place I had carved out. It worked
great holding the lead in shape and didnt crack at all. So I am going to make a
larger mold useing the 2x4 size bricks and see how those turn out. I will let ya
know how it turns out.

Just off hand, a friend's into table top wargaming (well so am i) but
he rolls his own miniatures from lead. He's in Europe somewhere
(Stopped by Euro 2000) and then to the US for  that big RPG
Convention. There is a book/magazine by White Dwarf-White Metal(I
think) that goes through the process of designing and creating
miniatures. I've got some of my older bricks in front of me, basic
Duplo, solid, no studs on top, and a bit under 1 plate thickness taken
off the bottom to account for any studs it sits on. Most are custom
made sizes to fit specific areas of MOCs. Still can't find the box. I
think it may be with Rei's stuff in Sydney. Either way i'm getting
close!

Jamie
