(...) Here's one: (URL) couldn't find his name in the lugnet members list, therefore he must have used a pseudonym. Jeff J (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: what is the best paint to use on LEGO?

(...) From my own experience: I've used Krylon enamel spray paints to color code wheel hubs (mainly 20x30') with successs - I avoided paint build-up on mating surfaces by having axles in place. And wash pieces in dishwashing detergent to remove any (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun.crafts)

what is the best paint to use on LEGO?

X-posted to Lugnet-General to "attract" a spectrum of readers Posted and FUT to Lugnet-Fun-Crafts because: I am not quite sure where to put this....   Re: Just for fun, take a poll

Great Idea!! Keep 'em coming. But how could you not include a knight or guard from the classic "Yellow Castle"? (I know, I know, if you didn't draw the line somewhere, you'd have ad a list of hundreds of minifigs!) :) (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) Well, it is a cinch (any #11 blade will do!) -- I just don't want to do it to every Cam head I own. Plus, this custom fig *is* a space figure and I like the retro-future look of the microphone sometimes. I see Lady Blacktron as keeping a (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) Seeing that you are a man of many talents, (well, and also cuz I know you've done it before!) removing it should be a cinch for you. Me, I voted for Timmy, the fig with the face only a mother could love! Maggie C. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) <snip> (...) Hey Rev, besides the fact that they came with some darn cool vehicles, the Blacktron figs were also the first to have *black visors* (that I know of). In fact, I know of none since then either. This unique feature should be (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) Obviously, they're not there as an act of kindness towards animals. I just opened Scala sets 3151 and 3148 and found Sniff(dog in 3151) in a bag with no holes and Ludo and Luna (bear-ish looking animals in 3148) in one as well, never mind the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

(...) I think the "uniform" is tres (very) cool. It looks like a member of the deathsquad or some futuristic shock troop. It conveys a perfect depiction of evil bad guy....in a space setting. Ben (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

Not to be at all antagonistic, but out of curiosity, could someone explain to me the fetish so many people seem to have for the Blacktron guy? I don't get it. Isn't he just a retread of the classic space guy in black, replacing the cool logo with (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll

Hee!Hee! Lotsa fun! (I loved the old Lego Purity Test, wherever that may be...) Anyway, Bill & Mary were the first two (named) figs I ever knew, and then the Ice-Babe was the first whose fan-given name seemed (to me) to be so quickly and widely (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)
