  LA gets it's honorable mention

Hey guys, just thought you'd be interested that LA finally got it's place in the Acronym FAQ... alongside with Los Angeles, just in case omeone gets them confused. :-) (URL) Todd, can you please change the link on the FAQ page, from the V1.3 post (...) (...) Yep, I found that one out a few years ago in my dealings with S@H/CA. (...) Well, I've actually ended up leaving a message at his voice mail, when I needed to contact TLG rather quickly (regarding CD sales at Legoland), so I would believe him (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Who is the REAL Susan Williams? (Re: New Motor from Susan W. (was: Bad motor in ZNAP set!))

(...) She isn't real -- she's just a pseudonym for Consumer Affairs. There is some speculation that Brad Justus isn't real either. :) [ -> lugnet.faq ] (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general, lugnet.znap, lugnet.faq)

  Acronym FAQ - FTX version

Fiddling around with the FTX stuff today, here's what I came up with: (URL) to Richard Franks who suggested this long ago :-) The only problem I had was with the bulleted list... it didn't seem to work. No biggie, tho'. `-Shiri (as I have to write (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.announce) !

  Re: Color chart

Hey, you could always take the color in question down to your local hardware or paint store and ask them to stick it into their computerized color matcher, that would be about as accurate as you can get using today's technology!! I've seen them (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Color chart

(...) Not really; there's reflective components to colour as well, although I'd imagine that Lego, being made of a single type of plastic for the most part, is fairly consistent in this respect. F'r'instance, paint is sold with a 'gloss' and (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.lego.direct)

[xposted to lugnet.cad, because I get caddy at the end] [FUT set to lugnet.faq] (...) The official, or recommended, LDraw color codes are listed at: (URL). (...) sure (...) Most graphics types use pantone as a standard - see : www.pantone.com. I'd imagine a colour / color standard based on the wavelength would also be simple? Scott A (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Color chart

(...) sure (...) Well, your sweetie knows more about this than I do, but my understanding is that if you want really really precise matches, only a sample of the actual thing in question will do.   Re: Color chart

So Todd hates Javascript. I wrote a Javascript compiler for a dedicated web browser, and it was/is used by many hackers to break in the system, so I understand why. But here's another fly for the soup. Suzanne, have you considered replacing the (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq)
