It's been a couple weeks since BrickFest was over, but I wanted to thank everyone involved in the Mindstorms activities. WOW! Fantastic! Kudos to all! This is the most amazing collection of Lego space I have ever seen! If I had known this was going to be at the Brickfest (and if the Brickfest was held on any other weekend) I surely would have made the trip. Four years (...) I've finally got all the photos up on BrickShelf- (URL) to viewers- there are about 400 photos in that folder but they are all screen friendly (800x533 or 400x600). (...) As Tommy explained, he did the markers. They were my idea - I didn't want a big MOC card type thing to distract from the display, but I wanted some sort of marker that would identify each set. Matthew, I just finished looking at some of the pictures of this display and it was awesome! What a beautiful way to show off your collection's of classic LEGO space sets. Yes, we did it. We displayed space complete! We pulled it together, and by early afternoon on Saturday at BrickFest 2007 in Portland we had pulled together a display of every single numbered Classic space set from 1978 though 1999. This (...) Yes there will be a draft at BrickFest this year! In case you forgot, a draft is where everyone brings an unopened copy of the same set. All the sets are sorted into lots and then lots are chosen in a round robin fashion till all the lots are gone. (...)
