  Re: Goozle

(...) I thought the designer must have had a nightmare involving a frog! Does anyone know if these ever appeared in Australian stores? I've never seen them although they've been in the last 2 or 3 catalogues. Deidre drb@tasmail.com (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: Explore info pages up at lego.com

(...) A summary page listing set names only (with links) is (URL) products can be seen with URLs of the form (URL) the set number on the end.   Explore info pages up at lego.com

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

In lugnet.duplo, Harvey Henkelman writes: never saw in regular DUPLO®, such as... (...) Ah, my mistake, I was taking a "standard brick" to be a 4*2 brick rather than a 2*2 brick. There have been 4*2 plates with only 4 studs instead of 8 around for a (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Goozle

This toy is everything it promised. It is by far the most likely representation of Cthulhu ever (Love)crafted. What dark corner of their souls did the designers have to look into to create this? Oo! And the head swivels open! And the eyes spin, and (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) The plate has four studs on top, just like the regular bricks...-Harvey (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: 4085 Bucket (Explore)

(...) How many studs on top - 4 in the middle or 8? The 4 stud ones have been around for a long time, 8 I haven't seen before so this would probably be new. (...) Is this the one in 2400 Cute Building Vehicles? This one was also in one of the Korean (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  4085 Bucket (Explore)

Just got this tonight, overall I'm impressed. Seen some stuff that I've never saw in regular DUPLO®, such as... "plates" (2 make one standard brick) helicopter/windmill rotor ...other than that. they're just standard DUPLO® (even to the name stamped (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: More Disney in 2002 or not?

(...) There's the Fabuland'ish Mickey and Minnie with variations and a Pluto. They are really fabulously made and I'm hoping they'll extend the line to other characters like Donald, Daisy and Goofy. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a Studio's xover (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

More Disney in 2002 or not?

Whilst I'm trawling around in Lego press-releases, I was reminded of the comment about more Disney in 2002 from (URL) agreements In 1999, we launched for the first time a number of themes based on license agreements signed in 1998 with Walt Disney (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

New Bob the Builder (was Re: A little more info on Explore)

(...) That one's definitely on the "must buy" list. Thanks for the info! I think there is one more new BTB set: 3282 and it's called something like "Bob and the Clock Tower". I gather this is the one in the bottom left of (URL) Doesn't look to be a (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Explore now at Legoland,CA (Re: A little more info on Explore)

(...) I was at Legoland, CA today and they seemed to have prettymuch the entire line of Explore (from what I have seen) as well as a few items I had not seen.   Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) I have seen the some of the older BtB sets without the Duplo logo. I was at Target yesterday and they had the sets, some had the duplo logo, others of the same set did not have the duplo logo on it. But they did not have the Explore logo on it (...)   Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) It's all one set: 3283 Dizzy's Birdwatch 38 pcs. $34.99. I spotted this set in a Learning Express in Charlotte, NC. I'm not sure if this is the actual retail price since Learning Express sometimes marks things above MSRP. Ken (...) (23 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: A little more info on Explore

(...) Any sightings of the bigger Bob set(s) i.e. Roley, Dizzy and Pilchard? Not sure if this is all one set or multiples. Thanks Julie and everyone else posting actual sightings, it's good to know that Duplo is living on more or less as it was. (...) (23 years ago, 27-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

A little more info on Explore

I was at Wal-Mart today and they had a few more of the Explore sets out. Bob the Builder seems to be continuing in the Explore line. They had $5.00 sets with 9 pieces, each featuring a character and an activity. I saw: Wallpapering Wendy #3278 Busy (...) (23 years ago, 25-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)

  Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) *whew* That is good news. I wish they would have put a pic of the bucket in their catalog, woulda saved me some heartache, lol!   Re: LEGO stops DUPLO

(...) I'd guess this will happen when the moulds have to be replaced due to wear. I actually do/did have new Duplo bricks bought in the last 2 years with Lego stamped on them rather than Duplo. These were most likely from buckets manufactured in (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.duplo)
