  Re: Authorized Lego retailers

(...) Is this a question for Jake at BrickFest this weekend? JB (20 years ago, 10-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.market.brickshops)

  Authorized Lego retailers

I am always looking for new places to purchase lego and came across the site www.theblockshop.com the other day. This site interested me mainly because according to the site, they are located around 30 miles from where I live and the fact that they (...)   Missing log bricks in set 4508

Has anyone else on LUGNET built the new Designer set #4508, "Titan XP"? I built the giant robot, and it calls for four black 1x2 log bricks - but mine didn't contain any! Has anyone else experienced this? There's no inventory on Peeron, and I (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.build)

  Re: New Lego Stores

Thanks for the detailed reply Scott! The problem is I am flying into Philadelphia and I am not sure which other places I will head to, atleast not yet. It will most definitely be NJ and NY. I guess it was convenience of having the information in one (...) (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: New Lego Stores

I had been the following the posts from Jake, but was under the impression that there were a lot more stores opened than that this year!!! Anyway, thanks for the reply! I will do the digging around and consolidating the info so that I know what is (...) (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: KK2 pricing

(...) Yeah I agree with Ben. The KK2 boxes look VERY interesting. Last year's boxes were kinda boring. If I was a kid, I would be dying to get the KK2 sets. But I'm not a kid... -Bryan (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: KK2 pricing

Hi Dan, Although this is speculation on my part, I believe KK2 is more expensive because of the packaging and playing cards. Some of the boxes have flip top lids which are die cut and are very glossy. All of the playing cards are glossy and die cut. (...) (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  KK2 pricing

I was wondering why Knights Kingdom 2 is so "expensive". Compared to the new lets say Alpha Team sets ranging from $4-$60. Where as the KK2, which is non-liscensed, is $9-$90. There are many possibilties I personally can think of I was just hoping (...) (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: New Lego Stores

(...) Ya, TLC is slooow when it comes to updating that page. But Jake did say the locations of the 2004 USA stores - you can check it out here: (URL) think thats actually a first for TLC - to say in advance where the stores will be to the public (...) (20 years ago, 4-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Knights’ Kingdom™ is ugly.

(...) Thanks for your timely and fresh opinion, Joshua. (...) If you had bothered to look at my 5 year history here at Lugnet you would have seen that I'm quite light-hearted.   New Lego Stores

Would it be too much to ask that the Lego website be updated to show all the new stores that are opening (OR have opened already) here in the US? I am looking to make a trip to the East Coast and may stop by one if close by. I am referring to this (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Knights’ Kingdom™ is ugly.

(...) Felix, I must disagree on this. If you are going to compare 6086 to 1 of the new sets, then compare it to the castle of Morcia set, which I think is much prettier than 6086. I actually prefer the new dark grey (bley) over the old dark grey. You (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Some cool parts!!! Glad someone agrees with the flower thingys ;) I'd also like: 1x3 tiles... such a pain to have to use a 1x2 and a 1x1 when there is no stud to attach the 1x1 to (for example tops of certain fences (spindled) etc). 1x2x2 (...)   My letter to Lego, and it could be yours too!

  Re: Buckets on the Brain

(...) If the grid is molded onto the bucket, then there's a high probability that it's the date of manufacture of the bucket, not the packaging of the container.
