Felix,

I must disagree on this. If you are going to compare 6086 to 1 of the new sets, then compare it to the castle of Morcia set, which I think is much prettier than 6086. I actually prefer the new dark grey (bley) over the old dark grey. You really ought to be grateful that TLG has released castle sets. As for the minifigs, I think Vladek is very cool and the new king is one of the nicest looking figs I’ve seen, and the rest of the figs are sort of cool. You also have to consider the age group lego is targeting. TLG is targeting kids, not you AFOLS!!!

Lighten up and be grateful,

Your right... Felix should not have compared Apples to Oranges (comparing the border conflict with the Black Knight’s Castle. You are entitled to like the newer stuff better. One BIG negative beef I have with the new stuff is the lack of generic troops in general. Vladek has some nice underlings, but not in sufficient quatity. I doubt the Jelly Bean knights (King Matthias’ 4 champions) have the stamina to go toe-to-toe with Vladek at every step.

P.S. At least be glad they’re not skin-toned!

amen to that!!
