Seems a lot for two figures and a horse. But I believe the price points have
been discussed already. (I will likely wait until next year when these sets
are sold by KB Toys for 30% off.)

So what follows is my own personal take on the KK sets. Just because I like it,
doesn't mean I'm lying :) Please don't call me a marketing schlub! :)

When I first saw pictures of the line, I wasn't much of a fan. They weren't on
the top of my "must have" list. Of course, I'm not the biggest castle fan,
although I LOVE what fans have created, and used to have many castle sets as a
kid.

But like many of you guys, I didn't like the vivid colors.

After building three of the sets, however, I'm hooked, The vivid colors, at
least for me, really seem to work well in the KK context. Not sure why, but they
don't seem out of place.

The set design is terrific so far (I still have several sets to build). One of
the sets has this terrific collapsing bridge design that works with LEGO chain
and the LEGO boulders. Very smart. Another set allows you to make a minifig
"climb" up the side of a tower.

I'm sure there are some design "flaws" yet to find (at least in my AFOL
mindset), but overall I'm quite pleased with the final product.

Not sure if I'd be pleased if I was a hardcore castle fan, but as the AFOL I am,
I'm quite impressed.

One thing I noticed was the return of the flap top box. With this product
line, the box flap opens to reveal more action scenes. I do prefer the
classic flap top boxes that showed you the set pieces. But this is still a
neat packaging feature.

Yeah, I like this feature too. I think it's a great way to show off the
storyline before purchase.
