 Dear LEGO / 2421
    better villians —James Walker
i think that lego should realise that people that smile all the time and live in a world where nothing goes worng just doesnt sell anymore... i think lego needs better villians... take for example the egyptian adventurers the good guys have have 4 (...)         Re: better villians —Wessel Burgers
(...) Personally, that's what always attracted me in Lego, I think it's a pitty that none of the new sets feature the happy smiley faces anymore. I'm not saying I'm against the way TLC is depicting the faces of our beloved yellow friends but (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

        Re: better villians —Tim Courtney
(...) I'm not much for villans, besides opposing Space subthemes, etc. *evil* characters just don't do it for me. (...) We're not being realistic, we're playing with Lego. (...) Violence is not what TLC is about. The only reason in my mind we see (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: better villians —Scott Edward Sanburn
(...) live (...) Indeed. I don't mind some character designs for certain minifigs, but this bumper crop of mutants we have now are just getting silly. The bus for the Soccer sets are a good example. Why oh why did we need more Timmy heads, and (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: better villians —Stephen F. Roberts
(...) ...Or at most plain smileys and 'plain frownies'... Good guys smile, bad guys and girls frown. Much nicer than all these pesky weird heads we have out there now :-/ -- ...you can go back to ignoring me now... wubwub stephen f roberts wamalug (...)          Re: better villians —Steve Bliss
(...) That's what I liked best about the Bat Lord from FK. Aside from the weird hair bits, he was just a regular smiley with the smile inverted. No weird snarly mouth. I could live with that kind of bad guy face. Steve (24 years ago, 28-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

        Re: better villians —Richard Marchetti
(...) I think there's enough out there right now that you should be able to do some simple customizations and achieve what you want. Amongst the many sites you could check out would be these two if you wanted to see "eviler" lego: (URL) to the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
