James, we must be reading from the same wish list. I like your answers! I would
add to the sloped bricks, inside (concave) corner bricks in extreme and low slope
sizes (along with the needed peaks and peak connectors). I would also like to see
a 1x1 brick that is half of a "half pyramid" brick (a quarter pyramid). I've
found a need for these in the past.
Also here are a few additional items:
Macaroni (quarter circle) bricks without that darn notch of missing plastic. I
realize you need these when attaching to a baseplate, but back in 1956 when they
started with the macaroni bricks, they sold a parts pack that had them with and
without that notch (I have this pack - it also contains very rare 1/2 circle
bricks (2 macaroni bricks together) also with and without the notch. Apparently
TLC discontinued these other pieces by 1958. But that is a pity, because
everytime I look at some of TLC's master builders buildings, I find the macaroni
brick columns very noticeable and unsightly. If TLC made the macaroni bricks
without the notches (in addition to the current ones), you could build a
smokestack or lighthouse, or one thick column, all without those unsightly holes
all over the structure. On a similar note, I also think that the large 4x4
quarter circle brick would also be great with and without the notches.
On an earlier idea, I think that newr LEGO windows that fit comfortably within the
LEGO arches would be great. Especially for 1x4, 2x6 and 2x8 arches.
Another idea I would love to see implemented would be to have TLC create a few
pointed Gothic type arches. Say a 1x2x4 and a 1x2x6, and maybe even a new size
1x3x8). All the current arches are really great, but more Romanesque in style
than Gothic.
And finally, I would like to see TLC reintroduce the old 1x1x1 white LEGO letters
and numbers bricks. They were really great back when they were available in the
'58-'72 timeframe (possibly until later). And while I'm on this tangent, I know
that LEGO Dacta sells 4x4 white tiles with huge letters and numbers on them. It
would be nice to have a regular LEGO pack with smaller letters and numbers on 2x2
white tiles.

| <description of system of low slopes> How about stud-less slopes while we're at it, just the sloping part, no brick on the edge? I think that after Lego makes all of these different types of slope bricks for all situations, then, they should take a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
