Hi everybody,

I made my own low slope inside corner by carrefully
cutting 2 4X3 low slope diagonally, starting at the top
right corner, then the right stud (in the middle) going
down and finished 8 mm from the bottom left side (1 brick
large). For the other one, it's the same except it's left to
right. I used A.B.S. plumbing glue and I got a pretty nice result.

Here a little exemple: (Excuse it, pretty tough to do it with text
editor)

Is this a sacrilege to modify the Lego brick?
This could be a interrestig debate!

Stephane...

Gender changers...and no, I don't mean more wigs for the minifigs.

What I would like would be plates with studs on both sides...so that we
could make round windows out of the arches, and then some kind of brick • with
recesses on both sides, so we could integrate the who thing back into the
other pieces.

Since the topic has come up again...I'd like to see:

Inverse corners, roof peak ends, roof peak joiners, and roof peak corners • for
the low-sloped bricks.

Ditto for the steep sloped corners.

Pieces for changing roof pitch - mostly corners and inverse corners.  I'd • love
to see a 3x2 corner slope (actually two - one for left and right) that is • low-
sloped on one side, and medium sloped on the other!

James,  we must be reading from the same wish list.  I like your answers!  I • would
add to the sloped bricks, inside (concave) corner bricks in extreme and low • slope
sizes (along with the needed peaks and peak connectors).  I would also like to • see
a 1x1 brick that is half of a "half pyramid" brick (a quarter pyramid).  I've
found a need for these in the past.

Also here are a few additional items:

Macaroni (quarter circle) bricks without that darn notch of missing plastic. • I
realize you need these when attaching to a baseplate, but back in 1956 when • they
started with the macaroni bricks, they sold a parts pack that had them with • and
without that notch (I have this pack - it also contains very rare 1/2 circle
bricks (2 macaroni bricks together) also with and without the notch. • Apparently
TLC discontinued these other pieces by 1958.   But that is a pity, because
everytime I look at some of TLC's master builders buildings, I find the • macaroni
brick columns very noticeable and unsightly.  If TLC made the macaroni bricks
without the notches (in addition to the current ones), you could build a
smokestack or lighthouse, or one thick column, all without those unsightly • holes
all over the structure.  On a similar note, I also think that the large 4x4
quarter circle brick would also be great with and without the notches.

On an earlier idea, I think that newr LEGO windows that fit comfortably within • the
LEGO arches would be great.  Especially for 1x4, 2x6 and 2x8 arches.

Another idea I would love to see implemented would be to have TLC create a few
pointed Gothic type arches.  Say a 1x2x4 and a 1x2x6, and maybe even a new • size
1x3x8).  All the current arches are really great, but more Romanesque in style
than Gothic.

And finally, I would like to see TLC reintroduce the old 1x1x1 white LEGO • letters
and numbers bricks.  They were really great back when they were available in • the
'58-'72 timeframe (possibly until later).  And while I'm on this tangent, I • know
that LEGO Dacta sells 4x4 white tiles with huge letters and numbers on them. • It
would be nice to have a regular LEGO pack with smaller letters and numbers on • 2x2
white tiles.

I would love to see pictures of the creation of this 'custom element' and the end result... sounds great! EC (24 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Wow, Stephane, can I send you some 4x3 bricks to customize? I could have used 12 of those in red in my new Cathedral. You could start a LEGO Customizing Service! Gary Istok (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
