 Dear LEGO / 1277 (-20)
Hey Brad! Bring back classic windows! In sets or bulk...

On the rolltop garage door thread Jeff Stembel wrote some words of wisdom: (...) I agree! With more classic windows that practically anyone, I have to say that these are great for all architectural uses, especially historical styles. The 1x1x1, (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Another way to market Lego Bricks

(...) I can see it now... "Want to chat with other adults who enjoy LEGO? Call LEGO-CHAT on 1-800-LEGO-CHAT" Maybe S@H could offer a "discrete" brown paper envelope service? :) Richard (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Spelling

Just as bad as their quote "Show your mates your miles better." Never did get a reply from 'em about that. Hmmm... Jon. Bram Lambrecht <BramL@JUNO.com> wrote in message news:FnoFH5.2yw@lugnet.com... (...) pages: (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

On Mon, 3 Jan 2000 04:33:01 GMT, Nephilim uttered the following profundities... (...) The clean lines are indeed interrupted, but some Greek and Egyptian ruins' columns are in bad shape, and have that similar look to them, so....a slight degree of (...)   Re: Greenberg Shows Newsletter

I really wish they would spread their shows out a little more. They're coming to Atlanta (the same convention center even) with in 3 months of each other. I really want to find a show in the Spring near Atlanta. Good luck with your shows, I'm (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Another way to market Lego Bricks

I REALLY like this idea. In theory it would be fantastic. But I don't think the market outside of AFOL's would support it. I mean how many "parties could you possibly host? No AFOL's would come. They'd be busy trying to have their own parties. How (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Another way to market Lego Bricks

To Lego Direct (Brad Justus) Brad, I'm an AFOL and an avid LUGNET reader. The topic of Lego Direct has been on a lot of peoples minds and while thinking about it, I had an idea (although not a new one). Have you considered selling Lego Bricks (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Greenberg Shows Newsletter

(...) When I talked to them about WAMALUG doing the Upper Marlboro show they talked about how impressed they are with the NGLTC's layout. They asked if we wanted to do another show with them in March, but we had to refuse because of a GATS show on (...)   Re: Greenberg Shows Newsletter

Hey that was the NGLTC(www.ngltc.org) showing at the October show, they (Greenberg people) were quite amazed with the LEGO trains. They wanted us to do thier show again this coming weekend, but it's just too close to the holidays. I would be really (...)   Re: LEGO Direct Questions

(...) At LLC, they have a single mold pushing out 2x4 red bricks. Being a complete and utter layman when it comes to the injection molding industry, all I can really say is "it looked neat". :) James (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO BABY set

I think that's also the reason why TLC sells the segments seperately (#2468) so that you can make your chain as large as you want it to. It's good to know that they still count on their old system that allows you to combine your toys and to "build" (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.primo)

Also, the energy required for remelting of the solid trees would be greater than (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Idea for if Lego ever revives Imperials

(...) Hear Hear... There is about zero reason for TLC to preserve the collectible value of older sets. Except for a small handfull of "limited edition" sets, TLC has never presented their sets as collectors items. (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  LEGO BABY set

I just opened up and played with the 2514 LEGO® BABY Activity Friends rings set. (No, I don't have children) And I am so amazed. LEGO has done it again!
