Yeah I have input on this one... Take the tente sets from the early 80's they had all this...now make them to minifig scale in Lego design and I know all us boat, ferry, tanker, airplane carrier and oceanic research center fanatics will have hours (...) Another hypothetical implementation of bulk sales could have online databases showing the factory production schedules of what pieces, with deadlines for ordering so you could get pieces quickly. I believe that my 25 years of collecting and building with the Brick, and about $50,000 spending - not counting increased rents, storage materials and other expenses - during that time, qualifies me as "serious".
