Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)

(...) That's my guess too. I've seen a number of ad flyers where the logo is added in as a seperate graphic next to photos of the various items that they're trying to sell. (...) You mean so it doesn't get display in Times New Roman with a pink (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)

(...) I'm not a lawyer but my _guess_ is that this reference is directed toward persons or companies who may wish to create actual printed copies of the LEGO logo for purposes such as (but not limited to) advertising LEGO products. Most companies (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)

(...) However, in the Trademark Usage section of the 2002 Brand Book (handed out at Toy Fair, so it's not widely distributed), it says: 6. The LEGO logo should only be reproduced with permission. If there is a need to reproduce a LEGO logo, please (...) (22 years ago, 23-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Ad email from Shop at home... a little confused

I just received email from S@H beginning.. "Hi Kevin, Be jewelled...be dazzled...be a CLIKITS™ Girl! " What are they thinking? Did *every* s@H customer or Lego Club member get this?   Re: Confused .... ??

(...) I did a quick search, but didn't find anything. That, of course, doesn't mean it hasn't been mentioned.   Re: Confused .... ??

(...) Interesting. Although I really wish they'd get back to putting more printed LEGO logo bricks in sets, like the old LEGOland series had. The only recent one I know of it the Yoda set, which uses one in the back. (...) I'm not sure why that (...) (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Confused .... ??

I just bought a couple of 3420 sets - they are 60% off at TRU here in Utica, NY. So cost per piece is good even though there are somne highly specialised pieces I'm unlikely to find a use for. My question, however, is; Why are there little (...) (22 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Lego Helps Hospitalized Child

Dear Lego, While out at a social gathering I met someone that told me a touching story and I thought I'd share it with you folks. As an Artist, I often goto shows and events to help continue to make new contacts and network with other local Artists. (...)   Re: All your typo are belong to us?

(...) He definitely was an Infomaniac. I hope they didn't cave into some kind of pressure and change his name because when you say it aloud it sounds like... wait, how old did you say you were? :-) A typo that stuck was the infamous Sam Sanister. I (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All your typo are belong to us?

(...) What typos? "Informaniac"? This is not necessarily a typo, but possibly a pun: inform, "inform-maniac". If I'm missing something, let me know! :) Mike (22 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WHY?!?!?!

(...) I seem to recall raising this point about a year ago, but with worse results then you'll ever get. (note, there was a lot of vitriol into my message, so no surprise.) Here's the logic behind your question. In order to raise a profit, like any (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WHY?!?!?!

(...) Oh. I never really thought about that. I've seen many auctions for 6979 MISB that ended $12-36 USD. Too bad they were all from Europe and I didn't wanna have to pay the expensive shipping costs. Anyway, I still don't know about juniorization (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)
