In my role as a self-appointed Brick Detective, I have made up a webpage to
help identify sets in which a certain "special" baseplate or boat hull is used.
If you have a raised baseplate, one with paint, or a singe or multi-piece boat
hull, for example, you can look through a page of pictures of pieces like that
to determine to what set it belongs. (It's easier to use than to explain.)
This started as a collection of Brickshelf pages for my own use, and I've
finally got it cleaned up enough for public consumption. Please have a look
and tell me what I've missed (I'm sure there are some things) or any other
comments you may have. Hope it's found to be useful!

| Well, I had a nice large list of about 30 or more sets, unfortunately my stupid system crashed because of running out of memory. One thing which would be good is to sub-divide things more, and perhaps try and make smaller pictures. The road plates (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

If so, I'm about to add to the usefulness-index of the Baseplate Finder... You might want to change the verbiage at (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

| Hi folks, has anyone got a spare one of the baseplate used in the 6383 set .. the one with the numbers on it ? what other sets does this one appear in ? happy building Yvonne (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
