  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

You know, I don't mind limiting the debate of this to .color. I think compartmentalism is great. (Like, I love to look at, run and sometimes build lego trains, but I honestly get lost when the train guys start talking.) But why pick on the color (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

(...) I guess I was making an assumption about what you meant. When you said, "Jake may not be a 'winner' in this case, but you get the point," I thought it meant that you were implying he was a loser. (...) I'm actually halfway astounded that 99.9% (...)   Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

(...) Words of wisdom. Although I don't think that it is such a good thing to limit the subject to a newsgroup (lugnet.color) because it is the MAIN subject for many and it is an important enough topic to be in general, although I get the point that (...)   Large 48x48 gray baseplates

Are these being produced in the new light blueish-gray? If not, was the packaging ever changed so that the difference is obvious, or will I have to bring a light grey Lego peice to stores to see? -- Markham Carroll (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

  Re: A question of humidity...

(...) Usually they start by grading them according to the actual plastic compound, like acryllic (I believe that's what the old "thief-smasher" phones of the 70's were made from) or vinyl (used as a surface layer on many dashboards). After that (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

(...) Hi Tim and All, I'm sorry, this was my first post on this thread and I didn't realize that it was in lugnet.general. Since I've realized it, my posts were followed up to lugnet.color. I'm very sorry to all in lugnet.general. Best Regards, (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

(...) I have not purchased the S@H bulk packs but I did clear out classic light gray from the Solomon Pond LEGO store last week. The staff there welcomes me by name. The managers are mixed about whether I should be an employee. Customer questions (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

  A word about trust

(...) No, I don't call you a marketdroid. I really don't think you are. It is all a question of trust. See, trust into a piece of information or an aspect of an entity is usually valued as a kind of multiplication product of the individual trust (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Dear LEGO, do you realize what is happening?

(...) I am concerned about the community too, which is why I am posting more. I saw some abysmal behaviour once before on Lugnet, but never have I seen so such abysmal behaviour from so many people. (...) I think you have hit the nail on the head. (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)

Make friends with someone in the store and ask them to open one for you. Show them the cash and tell them there's a 50% chance of making a big sale. (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Buckets on the Brain

If this issue has already been addressed, then please forgive me. I've searched the Lugnet set database but could not find the answer to my question. I realize that this issue could EASILY be addressed by simply buying one of the sets in question, (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.color, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Troll (was Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

  Re: Fed UP!!!!!!!!

Re: The first Lego color change of 1962-70

(...) The color change you speak of took place before I was born. The only way it has affected me is in the collections of old pieces that I have bought from ebay. Despite the downside of that era's color change, I would have to say that it was for (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.color)
