~Why is it generally believed that the Castle Systems theme is in a state of
decay?
Because of the juniorization of parts and the lack of basic building
elements found in current sets. This, coupled with poor set design, lack of
modularity (a clearly proven concept; Harry Potter & Classic Castle) and
non-existent follow through. (One-year temporary themes as opposed to the
classic syetems multi-year developments)
~Is their any promise for a renaissance of the themes creativity and dynamics?
Currently, with Lego Directs vigor, the re-introduction of the ‘Guarded Inn’
(First in the ‘Legends line.’) and the ‘Blacksmith Shop' (Also first of the
‘MOC line.’) all show great promise for our beloved line. However, the
shadow of Harry Potter looms over Castle, inhibiting a Castle run to concur
while the Potter line is being produced. Conversely, this wading shadow of
Potter does bring glimpse of luminance. Harry Potter provides many useful
elements and the Hogwarts Castle is a bona fide Medieval Castle! Also, with
the Studio lines Monsters sets a Gothic/mysterious feel will be incorporated
into Castle. Therefore, the Castle line is in for a period of change; having
to scavenge off other themes and specialized limited sets (Guarded Inn,
Black Smiths Shop) until once again the resplendent banner of Castle flies
true!!!
~What’s the Castle-heads motto?
“All other themes are spare parts for Castle!”

Yes, the 'top ten' answers are totally just my opinion, but I believe that
these opinions are generally accepted and agreed upon. You could always take
a poll, but I believe the results would mirror my choices quite closely!
* I'll happily accept 3 (three) Castle minifigs should my entries be
accepted!!!
