  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Oops! Sorry I got confused. Your foot was in one of the pictures of Elliot's Isengard tower, so that was the source of the association. Once again, great job. (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Thanks for your comments Mark. I hope to inspire. ;-) -Chris (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

Thanks Wilson. The tree was hard to get right; I redid it several times. As soon as I got that baseplate, I had this in mind. (...) Thanks again. It almost took longer to clutter the place up than it did to build it! -Chris (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

Thanks Aaron, but I can't take credit for the Tower of Isengard. That was Elliott Hyde. But I do thank your for your comments on this one. I really focused on the library on this one, making it "packed" with books. -Chris (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) First the awesome Tower of Isengard at Brickfest '01 and now this? I am ready to crown you king of wizard-tower-building. I really like the way you have captured that 'cluttered' look. When I saw the library, I was ready to browse for some (...) (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

In lugnet.castle.org.cw, Chris Maddison writes: [SNIP] (...) There are only two words that can accurately describe that model: Totaly and Schweet, thus making Totaly Schweet. :) It's AWSOME looking!   Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Hey man, that's so way cool! The outside looks very nice, and the tree really makes the building complete. Great use of that baseplate as well, I also built an MOC on it as well, but I'm not ready to show it yet. :-) (...) I'd say you (...)   MOC: Wizard's Tower

Hi all, This is the home of Wynok the Sage. I took these pictures using a "real" camera, but I think most of them turned out pretty good. Please excuse all the noise in the background. :-) The main folder: (URL) there you can view the interior and (...) (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle) !!

Re: IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

(...) Ok - I hope I fixed it. Check out the new n0w6 and let me know if that's right: (URL) also fixed the link problem. I wasn't sure what was wrong, but today in class I just realized it. Duh :) (...) Look for the mist to clear very soon - I won't (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

(...) I'm wondering when someone more aggresive is going to show up :) The groups who are here so far are all pretty friendly. Or at least not actively hostile. As for the links on the map page, first off, Kobayashi's camp is not located where you (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

(...) It all depends on the situation. If it's an interaction, it'll probably be straight story-like as in the most recent entry. My next one will be a journal, because it's more expository. So yes, I plan on switching styles as the story (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Bricktannia East website updated

(...) I love the use of colours in the buildings, simple but effective. OK, here's just some food for thought in terms of developing the comunnity. Have you thought about just what it entails to have a "democracy" in a medieval/fantasy setting? Not (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

Cool to see adventurers from different factions coming into contact with each other. You seem to be departing from the "journal like" narration, which I thought worked extremely well. Is this a permanent change, or do you plan on switching betwen (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

(...) Really cool! You guys really are on top of things in the West :) I went ahead and updated the map over there: (URL) has been acting up a bit, so if you have a sec, let me know if all the links are working properly (structures directing you to (...)   Re: Blacksmith, Port, Store now on IOM

(...) A mill probably won't do you much good until you can get grain, which means a farming season (unless you're importing raw grain from the continent). Since we're heading into winter, that's unlikely to happen for a while. Are your settlers (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Blacksmith, Port, Store now on IOM

(...) I chose sand red because I absolutely love the look of it. Its great. Not to mention its a good color for brick, so it is functional as well. (...) Well, thats a good question. My settlers have been clamoring for a tavern, so that my go up (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  IOM update: Hunter Becomes Hunted

Here's a small updated to my IOM chronicle. A pair of hunters from Bricktannia are introduced to Mitsuo Kobayashi, who in turn learns of the existance of Bricktannia East. (URL) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Blacksmith, Port, Store now on IOM

(...) Very cool! It's starting to look just like I would imagine a medieval city to start looking - close to the water, just the bare essentials. So ... are you using the new red bricks and slopes (sand red?) that you can only order from S@H? If so, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
