  Re: IOM: Prologue to Adventure

(...) Well, due to popular (well, okay, popular isn't quite the word) demand, I took some pics of my airship-in-progress at the Wamalug meeting this weekend: (URL) the center mast is in the proper position, the other two are just there so I can get (...)   Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Ooh, aack, ouch! At least that kind of problem is immediate and obvious. One question, though: was there smoke? FUT: off-topic.fun (fun? geek? whatever) -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

(...) Actually the lack of people already in the North is what made me decide to go there. I wanted some new area to work with. Now I just have to find time to build scenes to go with my stories... Jason (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Heehee! Having read "1984" just a few weeks ago, I'm still thinking in terms of... "Oceania is at war with Eastasia, Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia..." so yes, the ships are not there and they never have been. The next step is to (...)   Re: IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

(...) Hey-ho! Welcome aboard. I'm lookin' forward to hear more about these newcomers, and am glad that the north was not left (almost) uninhabited. It is still the least populated area, but hey, right on for braving the tundra! Wishin' you well, (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Thanks for the feedback - I will take it into account when writing the third short comic. The ships are now edited out. So ... were they ever there? (twilight zone music kicks in) I always appreciate people's comments, especially when they are (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Nice brickery, great image manipulation, and wonderful silliness throughout without going over the top. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

IOM: Jais Redwulf's journal of the expedition to the Isle of Mist

08, November We reached the Isle late in the day. We appear to be on the North end of the Isle, but so much of it is obscured by this Mist that it's hard to tell. Oldric and I made a quick journey around the area where we put to shore. Nothing (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Most excellent :) I think it looks great all edited and prettied up like that, and I hope to someday make pics that look as nice as those! I like the "comic" format as well. I think it flows better then the "Picture and Caption" style. And the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) Yeah, I loved it, too! I'm wondering whether they are or are not on the Isle of Mist. I mean, obviously the sailors would notice if they saw an unfamiliar island shrouded in mist, and stay away... but still... (...) I dunno, I'd love to see (...)   Re: More Elias and Blade ...

Hey Pawel, cool comic, yet again! I really liked the edited ocean scenes, they really made the story come alive. Like James said, the part with Blade dragging the Kaduu was classic! Can't wait to see what these two get into next. As for the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: More Elias and Blade ...

(...) (Practicing my new "reply to all" button) Nice. I laughed out loud seeing Blade towing the kaadu ( well, of course it's not a kaadu as such, since this isn't STAR WARS(TM, grovel grovel)). An leaving Elis speachless. You might note that in the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  More Elias and Blade ...

I've finally finished my second short comic about Elias and Blade. (URL) #3, I will take a backseat to this duo. Any suggestions on whom I should focus in issue #4? Check out the "people" page and e-mail me with ideas. Thanks :) -- Pawel (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw) !

  Re: IOM: Prologue to Adventure

(...) Thanks! Yep, I'll be making airships, hopefully they'll turn out well. :) (...) Yeah, its from the oh-so-quotable webcomic, 8-bit Theater: (URL) stuff. ;) Jeff "I like swords" (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IOM: Critters on the Isle?

(...) Larger and more intersting creatures are on the Isle, and the more the mist opens up, the more one will be forced to interact with the natives. If you want to jump the gun and interact with some creatures, that's cool :) Here is what to do: (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: IOM: Prologue to Adventure

(...) Ahhh ... sounds like a charismatic military leader like General Maximus from Gladiator <goosebumps...> Also, sounds like airships are starting to make seaships obsolete. Maybe someone will come up with a giant sea Man of War that will restore (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  IOM: Critters on the Isle?

So... my party is heading deep into the jungle, and I'm wondering what the scoop is with critters. So far, the only creatures I've seen interacting with people have been typical wildlife- birds, lobsters, small lizards, etc. What about larger or (...)   Re: IOM: Prologue to Adventure

(...) Hey Jeff, cool stuff so far! I can't wait to see what you come up with, what with all your RPG and fatasy knowledge. And you're going to be building airships, is that right? Again, can't wait to see what you've got planned. Wilson (...) Haha, (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
