(...) Oooo! That is so clean and simple, yet with so much detail! I love it. Similar to my Castle chess set that I have on the back-burner,very very nice, promise I won't steal any ideas ;) Very well constructed! Aaron (23 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun)

Re: Lego Ninja Theme Chess Set

James, Thanks for the kinds words on the set. Your idea of Lego offering pre-made chess boards is a very good one. As usual, AFOLs can come up with ideas that would probably be money makers for TLC but some of our ideas never see the light of day. (...)   Lego Ninja Theme Chess Set

It was a fairly obvious idea but one I had to make and it was a lot of fun making the set. Thank god for bulk purchases of the B&W tiles 2x2 from LD. And some timely purchases of blue slope 45 2x2s.   Thoughts on "nobowari"

Hey all, I guess this is really sort of a classic building problem, but I figured I'd ask here and get y'all's opinions.
