-I just added a new castle section onto my website. It's at (URL) you would like to look. I have a little fort for the Forestmen, and a couple of neat-looking (at least I think so) wizards. -Marc Nelson Jr. (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

I'll try to answer a few posts in one. (Don't feel like replying to each one :-) As soon as I read all the posts I went to rebuilding... now some more writing before I hit the books: (...) Hmmm... what did it start as? Just a house? (...) That's a (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Hi Marc, I like the treehouse a lot! Your use of the wheels is extremely creative, I *knew* they could be of some good use, just hadn't figure out just what use might that be ;-) I like the 'post' built halfway up. (...) Hi Shiri, Overall, I like the design of your inn. I do have a few suggestions and questions, though. :) When building a structure made of "stone", I like to frame window- and door-frames in a highlight color. Something similar to this: (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Inn/tavern teaser

(...) Thanks! (...) Hmm... I'm not sure if I have 1x4 arches in the right colors. If I highlight, and add a color-line, I'd love to make a green one... but I don't have any green plates OR arches, and doubt I can get any. I'll prolly go with red, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Inn/tavern teaser

(...) What about black? That generally looks best with gray (IMO). It would serve to define the windows, and make them more obvious. (...) In a countryside/village Inn, the backdoor might lead to a well or a stream. They'd probably need their own (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Inn/tavern teaser

(...) Actually it started out as a barracks, couldn't you tell? :-). Seriously it did start out as a barracks. It was mostly just an experiment in finding a use for the new 3x4x5 castle walls. Although I did use 4 of the new castle walls it is (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Inn/tavern teaser

(...) Sorry but that is just a bit to formal for this newsgroup don't you think? :-). Eric is fine, maybe Eric K. to differentiate from the other Eric's but Mr. Kingsley just makes me feel a little to old and I want this to be a relaxed atmosphere (...) (25 years ago, 11-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)
