Re: Lets get a datsville castle going

<snip> (...) I agree. I understood the "Datsville" concept as a way to share individual ideas and creations. Datsville exists to "showcase" our efforts, doesn't it? Wouldn't you want a Castle themed town to do the same. If I wanted to see TLG's (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

(...) A good point to bring up... how would it be designed? Because most people will probably want to build castles, I'd either suggest contributing castle sections to a single large castle (the stables built into one wall, the servents quarters, (...) And of course we'd have to have a coast nearby so we can put in ships.... not to mention the wonderful forest where the Forestmen/Dark Forest/Theives live... And then we can get silly and want a castle built atop a huge mountain of BURPs with caves (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

We have 2 or 3 large castles, each with villages, farms, etc etc etc and then have different armies in them and then have some sieges and battles. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

(...) That's a nice idea in theory, but in order to do that, we need LOTS and LOTS of structures, unless each town is only 5 houses or something.
