Heh..I knew my opinion would arise some manner

Has this jus’ suddenly become a bid for the throne?
A struggle that could unite or rip apart the kingdom???
A battle of wills and opinions from competing Dukes and Barons…

Not exactly to that proportion...although I can sense
your sarcasm.

   <Slaps forehead!>

OMFG give me a break!
This isn’t a really big deal.

Maybe not if you're a dual theme poster. To this castle
fan, however, it is.

No one person or group of people are gonna form a dictatorship.
What is offered (or at least what I gather) is that one or two people
have kindly offered to spruce-up the .castle main page…

Nah, but it could happen. I'm not saying if a curator
was instated, this would actually occur, but It is a
possibility. Anyway, so called "dictatorship" isn't
the best way to describe it, in fact, the aforementioned
definition rather harsh. It could establish a sort
of hierarchy, in which certain members may get
priveleges over others. (not good. i.e, someone breaks
the chrater and gets off easily.) Not saying this would
happen, but in some public institutions, we see this all
too often. (1)

Other groups may have a successful curatorship, and
that's good for them. I think castle should remain more
individual, due to the fact it has such a large fan
base. Besides, it works well as is.

I think it’s a great gesture and a worthy endeavor!
Additional informative links can be provided, and
perhaps even a few more Castle-esk images.

Well, we remain at odds, don't we?

        I say go-for-it!

^_^

(1) First off, you may be saying. "This isn't a public
institution, this is the internet". This may be true,
but some of these same principles could apply. I'm
not saying this will happen, but It's a possibility.

I think the admins do a job well enough maintaining
the site, and for that, my commendments.

Hi Matt, I understand and respect your statements. I even value your prudence… It jus’ that, the way I see it, the advantages of having a ‘care-taker’ out ways the odds of preferential treatment or the remote development of a hierarchy! (Just an (...) (22 years ago, 9-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)
