Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Bruce Schlickbernd
I knew I could find someone more insane than me (but waiting to collect Castle until Fright Knights was on clearance kinda slowed me down, I'll admit). "See, dear, my collection isn't that big!" :-) (...) I thought the Crusaders encompassed the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Jimmy Park
(...) Hehehe, I recently married a woman who actually supports my habits! In the past few months, she's given me 15 Guarded Inns, 100 Defense Archers, etc. (...) Usually they do, but once an army gets to certain numbers, it reaches critical mass and (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Tanya K. Burkhart
(...) He he he! My thought exactly! There's no way my husband of eight years would even think to buy that many sets for me. Of course he needs to buy me a bigger house right now to keep my current collection under one roof! ;) Tanya (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Frank Filz
(...) My numbers in any one theme are hurt by the fact that I'm into so many themes. It does sound like Jimmy may also have more Pirates/Imperials than me (he certainly has more Imperials). I now probably have 1300-1400 Pirates/Imperials/Islanders, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Brett A. Antaya
(...) I am both embarrased and delighted to share that I have been secretly collecting an army of Knights Procession minifigs in hopes that no one has more than me. The grand total is somewhere around 300 (give or take 10). Collecting the shields to (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Kevin Salm
(...) I have got 18 of these figs; 12 of which I have had since I opened the boxes about 1983 or so. I thought 18 was a lot. Guess I was wrong. My grand total of all Castle figs must be over 1,000 but I have never counted and I haven't lined them up (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Magnus Lauglo
(...) I think you raise a good point. I can easily see medieval army building as very addctive, but while I have 300 medieval figures or so, I have never really used them at the same time for anything. I have never really gotten into brickwars, and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Bruce Schlickbernd
(...) I don't know why anyone would give you a hard time about it. I use the figures for gaming - I just don't have the time to paint miniatures anymore - and my 10 year old also plays with them. But that's me. I also build - but I wouldn't need (...)         Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Thomas Garrison
(...) Not substantial. . .I think 27 when my most recent BrickLink order comes in (although I might be distinctive for owning that many without actually owning a complete 677). For the record (I really did count them before this thread started, but (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Aaron Dalan
(...) 300 Knight's Procession guys is very impressive. I have about 20, and they are my all time favorites. Are you the person who keeps outbidding me for Knight's Procession sets on ebay??? :) How long have you been collecting those...I would (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Johannes Koehler
Hello! (...) What do you count as a substantial army? I've got about 20 of them that I count as the "faction" + 12 still sealed in their boxes. There are also some torsos that aren't assambled to any figure. (URL) know a guy in Germany who owns (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Help! I'm being overrun by minifigs! —Magnus Lauglo
(...) I dunno, real medieval armies were usually counted by the thousand or even hundred, as opposed to the ten/hundred thousand of ancient times. Of course medieval armies were made up of lots of different factions, the soldiers of various lords (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)
