  Re: First Look!

(...) Hey guys, I've been kicking the "my own plume thing" around already. I'd like to make a "torse", or twisted roll, for the top as well as a better plume. Of course these would be clip-on pieces. They'd look great for tournament stuff. Take a (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: First Look!

(...) Oh, absolutely. The tricky part is that the hole would need to have enough clearance for the fat plume or the triple plume, but if it's too high or too far back it'll look odd. Maybe it could be tipped forward at an angle? (...) It's sort of (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: First Look!

(...) I think it need that plume hole at the top if the helmet. Speaking of which... I have yet to see anyone make a Custom Plume piece. Up to it Jeff? (20 years ago, 29-Jul-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Cathedral completed!

Brian, Awe-inspiring creation. Everything is great--the windows, the organ and piano, the white cross behind the trans yellow bricks, the chandaliers, the underside of the roof, etc. Jon, Long time no see. Where have you been?   Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) good stuff! You got me real interested in making a spider-style creation now, but mine will be a little bigger... think of yours as the jumping spider and mine... the tarantula. :) Rick (20 years ago, 28-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) It was fun, and I really like how it turned out, but I think I've had my fill of building vehicles that are directly based on creature anatomy for a while.   Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Well, on the basis that there's not a gap between the Bohrok eyes and the first pair of legs, and the Bohrok eyes serve much of the same function as pedipalps (except for the "reproductive male organ" bit), we'll say that those are pedipalps, (...)   Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Cool! Needs pedipalps, though (the small "5th pair of legs" just behind the fangs, that are quite prominent in some spiders). Could be a good way to add some tools for the pilot. (...) Um, neither can I, I think... James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 27-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Very cool! That's by far the best use I've seen with the angled cockpit piece for the 6x6 octagon. Everything is appropriately-sized, and the overall impression is very solidly spidery. The missile pack is a great addition as well. The legs (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

Substantially improved are the battements round the top terrace, those small pinnacles on the crenelles made of cones 1x1 make it look much more like the real life tower. I'm not sure about (...)
