Re: More foliage - Roses (and corn)

Those roses are very impressive. I will definitely be borrowing them for designs. Great job! (21 years ago, 24-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.town, FTX)

More foliage - Roses (and corn)

I've just built two more bits of foliage for my Classic-Castle.com article on foliage. But since not all people who are interested in foliage are interested in castle, I figured I'd show off the MOCs themselves seperately. So here you go: A rose (...)   Re: White Lion Castle - first pictures of the whole castle !

(...) not only on one. I've read some Books about castles, medieval buildings, living in that timeperiod and the crusades. Especially the art of siege is very interessting. First I thought about to rebuild a real castle, but then I found Bob (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Hmm... I heard that the falcons build some siege weapons like the crusades did. I think they are not restricted to their own acquisitions :) (...) Jep ! :) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: White Lion Castle - first pictures of the hole castle !

Hmm...just check out the last post ( backside of the wlc ) to the the amount of crusaders against the falcons. I gues there will be about 10 more but that's it ... no more falcons :) Maybe you should send me a bunch of falcons to lead them to (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

WLC walls finished - a picture of the backside rocks

Hi, a new picture of the "white lion castle": click on the picture at "The Castle ( the construction )" (URL) this should be a teaser for the whole picture set of the forthcomming crusader-falcon-battle :) stats so far: 1 King, 1 Queen, 47 Crusaders (...)   Re: forum opinion

(...) Hmmm... I don't think that it will be "better", 'cause of the discussed reasons before. Yes - there will be more castle-"readers/writers" in fact of the new forum, but if you realy wanna read all the stuff - you have to go to more than one (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hello. My daily LEGO rutine is basically this; * Visit LUGNET via webbrowser * Klick on all new items on the front page to open in a new tab (using Mozilla) * Do the same to (URL) Read those items, no matter what theme they're in Then I do things a (...)   Orc Wolf Rider - Thank you Kevin Blocksidge!!

Thank you Kevin Blocksidge, for doing something that I was too lazy to do, something I should have done but never did. Kevin has taken my Orc Wolf Rider instructions and created only three pages out of the 19 steps. Here's a link: (URL) Orcish Wolf (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.inst, FTX)

  Re: forum opinion

(...) Bruce, I am hoping that the CC Forums become an active, complementary service to .castle. I think it will in time attract a different audience than lugnet does. I would suggest posting MOC announcements to both for now, and see what sort of (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: forum opinion

(...) Seriously, has anyone thought about gatewaying lugnet.castle to the cc forum at all? It's probably an unrealistic prospect, with message coding issues (!) and such, but I am aware something similar was done with the (crynwrr) robotics mailing (...)   Re: forum opinion

(...) I couldn't disagree more. As the community grows (and, from what I know, it is growing constantly) - having a central place to communicate will devolve into cacophony. Lugnet is such a great central place because it automatically divides (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: forum opinion

I totally agree with Jason on this. In the end, I -- and probably many, many people besides myself -- just don't have the time to visit all the many forums that are popping up. I pretty much gave up RTL for Lugnet. I try to occasionally read the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Posable Horse Reloaded

Okay, I've redesigned my minifig posable horse. The result is now a little more to the same scale as a minifig, and generally it looks better and more horse-like. It still has 11 pivot points. If I could figure out how to make the head move up and (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: forum opinion

I see nothing wrong with having a new forum at Classic Castle, and I see nothing wrong with cross posting. Right now, the new forum has some interesting topics going. It's true that they could have all been posted here, but they weren't. This forum (...) (21 years ago, 21-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)
