Nine he gave to Mortal Men, proud and great, and so ensnared them. Long ago they fell under the dominion of the One, and they became Ringwraiths, shadows under his great Shadow, his most terrible servants. (URL) With 29 points of articulation*, this (...)   Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

Hello Ben, as a fellow lurker I say welcome! I really like your stuff. There was a thread a little while back about why pirate doesn't get built as often, I think everyone said it was that pirate needed a higher quality than the other themes. I say (...)   Re: Goblin Wild Boar Rider

Ok, as soon as I posted my wild boar I had a flash of inspiration. So I uploaded new pictures that over wrote the old pictures (not by accident ;). However, for those of you who saw the old design, or for those of you who are curious as to the old (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Church MOC

Hi Jason, (...) Thanks a lot. (...) That's the idea, glad you can recognize as such. (...) I respectfully disagree :-) I've been tinkering around with it, adding crosses, more angels or simply circles and rectangles only to decide that it's a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Goblin Wild Boar Rider

Ok, so they're not all winners. But I figured I'd share my quasi-failure with you all, at least to prove I'm not some LEGO demi-god (not that anyone thinks that, nor do I actually believe anyone thinks that). With the success, or at least slight (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

Hi Yaron, "the black sword" wrote (...) Thanks indeed. (...) If you like them, please feel free to use these. Even better, improve on them ;-) (...) That's true, I don't have the white for it. And even though that would be a nice color, I certainly (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Church MOC

Hi Johannes, "Johannes 'Jojo' Koehler" wrote (...) Well, thank you. (...) That was the idea. In fact I have been visiting roman churches in the neighbourhood from which I borrowed details for this MOC, but I'm glad it's recognizable as roman style. (...)   Re: Church MOC

Hi David, (...) Thank you. I think using plates for the roofs gives me an increased versatility. But against a few drawbacks, like difficulty making a pointy top. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to owning more of these new 2x3 and 2x4 wings for (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

(...) Actually, I've been really frustrated with black. It's nearly impossible to photograph just like you said. Still, it looks very good in person and so I'll probably continue to use it in creations. (...) Thank you. Actually, my reasoning for (...)   Re: Castle Will be Big at Brickfest?

(...) I think it would be cool to see some custome Harry Potter type Castles. Or at least some castles that utilize a lot of the newer Harry Potter pieces. I miss my days of building castles and such. Now I seem to put all effort towards trains and (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

(...) Hi! always great to add someone to the community, especially the .pirate community! (...) this is a nice small medieval style ship, with high fore and stern castles to fight from. also, the color scheme is nice, the only problem with black is (...)   Re: johny come lately

(Please (...) Actually, I know that from my perspective, I'd rather have the re-release of something small and cheap like [LEGOSet 1463] or possibly [LEGOSet 6009]. I say this for primarily selfish reasons seeing as how I am out right now (and ever (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Will Castle be Big at Brickfest?

  Re: johny come lately

(...) Well, I'd have to beg to digress in terms of not having a Royal Knight's Fortress re-release. Personally, I found that the model came with an almost unmatched assortment of parts for a particularly large fortress. (the only problem is the (...)   Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

(...) Lol, well, I've been active on many online communities in my time with most of them being oh so much less friendly than Lugnet. However, posting on Lugnet was the first time I ever consented to give my full legal name away online. I know that (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

(...) Actually, I debated for some time whether or not to retain the foresail. In end I opted to do so simply because it gave the ship a bit of length and added a bit of 'structure' to the front the the vessel without me needing to expand the front (...)   Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

Hello! (...) Welcome, this courage is always appreciated! And I don't know if much courage is needed to poste here. Nobody will rip off your head if he doesn't like your creations.
