Hi Jason,

Nicely done.

Thanks a lot.

Is that an angel above the front door?

That's the idea, glad you can recognize as such.

If I was to offer some critism it would be that the outside
doesn't seem as detailed as it could have been. The interior
details are all very prominant and speak of the time you put
into them.

I respectfully disagree :-)
I've been tinkering around with it, adding crosses, more angels
or simply circles and rectangles only to decide that it's a
departure from the idea of a roman architecture. Same with
adding more yellow details (for gold) which I found overdoing
things.

The exterior seems (to me) to be missing something, although
I can't say what.

There is something odd indeed. The church has two similar
towers at the front, a configuration that's normally found with
gothic cathedrals (at least I can't think of a two-tower church
in Western Europe that is _not_ a gothic cathedral), where
you'd expect a more prolific use of details. Maybe you sense
this somehow and therefore expect a gothic architecture?

I'm also not a big fan of that front door. Would it have been
possible to use brown plates facing outwards? That might
match the style of the roof.

I agree with you on this. Log bricks work just fine for bigger
doors, but not on these small ones.

Anyways, don't take my critism the wrong way,

If you mean don't take it personally, I don't. Your feedback
is well received, thanks.

Regards, Twan.
