Re: My Medieval Town : First 5 Buildings

(...) Hey Lenny, (...) I am happy to hear you like them. Because I tried to build them on the 16x16 baseplate, they would automatically be small, and that way they become kind of 'cute' ;-) (...) Yes, the parts I used are indeed from the Bionicle (...) (22 years ago, 24-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Ideas

(...) Yes, the walls are plain gray, but I'm a bit of a traditionalist in that way. We're not looking at some 600 year old pile of ruins, so why not make it look like it was just built and whitewashed yesterday!? (...) I had the forsight to buy 200 (...)   Re: New Castle Ideas

I really like the shape, size, and design of the outer walls. It's nice to see battlements with merlons that are actually big enough for the minifigs to hide behind, and topping them with slopes was a nice touch. It's great that you have built a way (...)   Re: New Castle Ideas

Nice! Very detailed. It's great to see such a level of historical accuracy. That's for the preview! Stephen (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Ideas

(...) Technically speaking, it's a barbican, because there's no actual interior rooms to make it a 'gate house.' It does open up to access the interior passageways for the archers (and to clean up rocks, arrows, feces, etc. dumped on enemy troops (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: ozbricks problems

That's exactly what I get. Well, I guess it's a problem at their end so I won't worry about it until next week so they'll have a few days to address it. Please let me know, though, if you find a way to make it work. Bruce (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Ideas

Your castle looks great, Dan! I like the idea of a modular building. Does the gatehouse open up too? (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: ozbricks problems

I am having the same problems. I tried logging in at different FTP locations, I've tried using different ports, I've tried everything in the limited arsenal of things to do. But it won't accept me. Using my FTP program, (not internet explorer) it (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: ozbricks problems

(...) I just tried logging on at 5:06 PM CST on Friday and was able to log on no problem. I do know that they've been trying to switch over part of their system over to Ozbricks.net, perhaps it's related to that? I know you don't need to hear it, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle Ideas

Hi Dan, Very nice stuff as always! I really like the keep. The way you have the top roof of the keep open and close was quite original. Build On, Josh (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  ozbricks problems

Hey all, I know there are a couple of other people in this group with websites hosted by Ozbricks. Have any of you had problems logging on in the past few days? I've got another chapter to add to my Tolkien project, but I keep getting told that my (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

  New Castle Ideas

I've been working on my castle kit ideas again and have posted some prototype pictures to my gallery. Pictured is a central keep, surrounded by some modular castle wall sections. These aren't 100% complete yet, but I thought I'd share the work on (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Loyal to .castle? [ROLL CALL]
