(...) You are very welcome to convert the "Part Tracker Reference" to PDF format[1] and send it to me, so I can put it somewhere on the LDraw.org web site.          Re: Downloadable Handbook? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) If you know MSWord, you can still use it despite Jacob's ban... there is a facility within Acrobat to import and convert Word docs, I believe, and save them as .pdf files... Do your composition in a widely accepted and hugely popular (but (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

         Re: Downloadable Handbook? —Chris Dee
(...) Extremely unfortunate timing, as I have just updated the html version to incorporate the new primitives in Parts Update 2002-05. Is this easy to regenerate? Chris (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

        Re: Downloadable Handbook? —Tim Courtney
The PT and the PT reference pages are not my responsibility, but I have suggested a few times that they be cross-linked with the general reference pages. My original plan for the re-organization of the site was that all reference docs would go under (...) (22 years ago, 29-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

        Re: Downloadable Handbook? —Tim Courtney
Hey Chris - (...) Ok. (...) It should probably go under specs/ - there's a category on the page called Project Standards. Would it fit there? You can feel free to create another section under specs/ or another directory under reference/ if it really (...) (22 years ago, 30-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

        Re: Downloadable Handbook? —Chris Dee
(...) But this isn't Parts Tracker stuff - it is Parts Authoring stuff. I don't think it would be easy for newbies to find under "Specifications" - so I'd rather see a new "Part Authoring" link on (URL) we create a new subdirectory "/authoring", are (...)
