Re: Question about legacy pages on ldraw.org

(...) The old content will not go away until all of it is present in some form on the new site. Also, your link shouldn't have to be changed either since we'll adjust our redirects accordingly -Orion (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Question about legacy pages on ldraw.org

(...) Yeah, I still have a link to the same page, for the same reasons. So obviously I have similar concerns. I think I squirreled away a copy of that page via wget just in case. While we're on the subject, is there anyone out there with enough (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Question about legacy pages on ldraw.org

I have a link in my LDView download page to the old (URL) Get Started: Linux Users> page at ldraw.org. At the moment, it still works, but as far as I can tell, the new site has no equivalent page, although you can still get to this page if you go to (...)   Several questions about new LDraw.org pages

Hallo First, I should say "nicely done". Hopefully it will make life of the LDraw staff easier. second - I have some questions: - In Parts library/updates page (using left-side menu on the main page) there are updates till 2002, but on the "old" (...)   login = empty???

Hi, When I login at the ldraw site, I only get the header and the footer of the page. When I log out, I get a normal page. But then, I can't submit a link to the link page! Is it me, my computer, or what? Jeroen (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Announcing LDraw.org Relaunch

(...) I just noticed that someone's name didn't get communicated when prepping for the announcement and that I didn't write into the announcement copy on LDraw.org. Ryan Farrington worked hard to design the graphics for LDraw.org in a skin file that (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) I suppose it would. And it makes the text shorter and easier to read. Play well, Jacob (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) John, I'm pretty sure I fixed this for you. Try again and Email me with the results. -Orion (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) What's your username? We've experienced a common problem ... if your ID isn't in a specific group, it does this to people. But once you're added to a group, you can see stuff. I'll stick you in the 'user' group and it should be all better. Has (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) I didn't know that the .org was in the name. Learn somethin' new every day. (...) I tend to think of the organization, mainly because I became involved shortly before this summer, and the organization began to emerge beyond its ad-hoc status (...)   Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) Dan's shortening seems acceptable to me, especially in this context. The LSC is a group of people elected by the LDraw community and sponsored by LDraw.org to be responsible for this maintenance. The central resource for the file format is (...)   Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) My intepretation of this statement is that LDraw.org will not maintain the file format. Rather, a separate group (I believe the LSC) will be in charge of the file format. As I understand it, LDraw.org is mostly a distribution and community (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Purposes of the Organization

(...) I'm not sure the details of how LDraw maintains and develops the format should really go in the "Propose" of the org. Wouldn't it suffice to say: + develop and maintain the LDraw format. ? (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Purposes of the Organization

Its been a while since the organization meta-discussion that was contained within the LSC proposal threads. Since then, I've been working off-and-on on a bylaws draft that's quite lengthy, and sending it to the ad-hoc organizing committee for (...)
