Re: IMPORTANT - [ldraw.org] Official Model Repository

Tim, Using the set number only is a problem, especially for part authors. In my models directory, a number-only file means a part I'm working on, while models are indicated with a preceding "m". -John Van Tim Courtney <tim@zacktron.com> wrote in (...) Good thinking on this, but there is one problem not addressed: duplicate set numbers. For this we will need at least one character to distinguish different sets with the same number. But this puts us over the 8+3 characters. The only character we (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Is there really any reason to maintain the c:\ldraw\models\etc. structure for use in future tools in the LDraw multiverse? Why not allow models to reside in (...)   Piece needed to finish MOC Naboo Fighter

I wasn't at all pleased with the Naboo Fighter set, so I redesigned it to more closely match the movie ship. I've finished the Ldraw File, but I'm missing one piece... I know it has been asked for before, but I don't remember if anybody ever (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hey now, that's beginning to look like the yacc grammer for LDRAW in the LDLite source code. If you want to get precise in the language spec, grab the LDLite lex and yacc files and either take them as the defacto standard or modify them to handle (...)
