  Re: Color page updated

(...) I disagree that this was the original purpose of the ldconfig file. I can say that definitively, since I was the one who first proposed the file here: (URL). The purpose was that when *new* colors were added, ldraw software tools would have a (...) (15 years ago, 3-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Hello Folks, I have to dig out this 'thread' again. I don't know if Joachim fixed his problem so I ask only on my side of the problem. Could I submit stickers for the vote? They are not fixed to a brick etc but behave like a brick ... you can attach (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Color page updated

(...) This isn't the first time that LDconfig.ldr has been updated - and it is just that, the file has been updated with MORE colors than before. I think we are loosing sight of the purpose of LDconfig.ldr... The LDconfig file is meant to be a quick (...) (15 years ago, 3-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

I'm gonna explain (and quit afterwards) why I hesitate adding new and old - what I call "MLCad" - colors to the LDConfig.ldr file: * The current LDConfig.ldr contains only colors you'll find in official LEGO Bricks (with two exceptions (...)   Re: When Did Tiles Get Their Groove?

(...) The hears of my yellow castle 6075 horses are grooved 1x2 tiles. My set was bought year 1981. The set was available here (france), year 1979. In those times lego group has used rare printed parts and many stickers. Damien (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I have only one printed part that looks like this one: (URL) by James Jessiman. The first occurance I know of for this part was 1998 (set 4222, according to Peeron). However, I also have several stickered 1x4s with a sticker matching this (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Questions on Stickers and Certification

(...) I think this is an important point. Subfiles are *very* useful tools for modeling parts, but we should use them with restraint. I will frequently model a part using multiple subfiles, but then I will inline all the code into a single file (...) (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Handling Stickers Without a Known Number

  Ideas for partbin group sorting
