Re: MPD, the OMR, and Incomplete Parts

(...) Then we should put an errors.txt file in the MPD's to denote each discrepancy in the official models. Especially since a lot of the decorated or sticker elements have not been modeled in LDraw yet. -Tim Courtney ldraw.org Project Coordinator (...)   Re: Change to existing policy regarding the subfiling of dithered colors

(...) I'm confused. Is this a change to the current LDraw.org file specifications (which I thought was 0.23) or part of the next LDraw.org file spec (which I thought was going to be 1.0)? The spec published on LDraw.org (URL) is not numbered at all) (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) This makes sense. Now, are we going to abandon the 8.3 or use subdirectories? Both?? If so, lets nail this puppy once and for all so he can't squirm and find an exception to the rule. (...) I agree. This area is really going to go hogwild (in a good way) and be muchly integrated with other DB & commerce aspects of lugnet.com. The URL(s) will even be getting simpler/nicer -- becoming (URL) and sub-categories. One sub-category in (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Right - it might be used for other things, either by LDraw.org (ie, as a general standard), or by specific programs. (...) Good point. Thanks for pointing that out. Steve (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
