Something to work on.  Lets work out parts downloading issues and we'll • set
up something on the site to allow the easy download of the files from your
software.  Would you prefer directories with unzipped parts from each
update?  I think that might be easier, but I don't know much of anything
about InstallShield.

No please not, if a packadge is combined and compressed it's much easier to
download it, and please think on people like me, who just have a nice ...
modem with up to 56k (which in real is something arround 48k anyway :-)) -
this would increase download time a lot -

The first column is a name (any), the second the current version, the • third
the download location.
The file could be http://www.ldraw.org/download/dlinfo.txt

So you're talking about a permanent text file online which gives updated
info about what files to grab?  That way, an old install of MLCad (in the
future) could download all the current updates?

Yes that is what I ment, parts of the file will be stored on the computer
localy (depending what has been installed) and than the download tool can
easy check which things are new.

I believe Terry Keller is working on a new install package for the • original
software, ldraw026.exe.  Ask him about that.

This should be stored on ldraw.org finaly !!!!

I'm also willing to keep this installation program up-to-date.

Great!!  Thanks! :)
