  The parts tracker

I am thinking about setting up a new parts tracker (since the old one is gone). I will also create a matching sets tracker for posting of info on which TLG sets have been modeled. Sets will dissapear off the tracker after they are in the OMR. Both (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  New Program I am making

I might be making a new program. It will be a program to take a ldraw .dat file and identify if there are any parts used in the model that are unofficial. How will it do this? It will use the official parts.lst files posted every update. What I need (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw: New Parts Update Available

(...) My mirror site is updated. I don't have a parts list made, but I get the feeling that mainly people just grab the parts and go anyway, so probably won't get around to doing it unless I can find it already made someplace else. (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Element Count Trivia

(...) Great new millennium news, and thanks Steve for putting this together. Thanks too to Terry for managing the previous official updates, and seemingly handing over to Steve in an organised manner. Looking forward to 2000-01 ... Chris (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw: New Parts Update Available

(...) Don't worry, the site just came back up, blame it on y2k. Looking at the preview picture, I see a large number of my parts... Obviously there are enough people out there who think I am good enough at making parts to get them in. The battery (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw: New Parts Update Available

(...) Can someone please post this new exe file and associated gif image with pictures of new parts to a server other than ldraw.org? I cant get to ldraw.org at the moment and always seem to have problems getting there. (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Thanks Steve!! [...] (...) Sounds good to me. We also need to work on completely phasing out the memorial pages on GeoCities, which exist behind the 'page has moved' index.html still. -Tim (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LDraw: New Parts Update Available

A new parts release has been posted to www.ldraw.org. You can find it here: (URL). This update is called 99-06. In my part of the world, it's still 1999, so we made it just in time. Those of you already on the other side, happy Y2K! But the update (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Trying to do part 2951 bucket for Rock Raider

I have made a very, very simple mockup for this part. It is available here: (URL) am pretty certain that I have gotten the measurements of the vertices of the parts fairly exact, but there are still lots of details that need to be filled in.   Trying to do part 2951 bucket for Rock Raider

I've failed to locate the parts tracker. Is anyone working on the bucket for Rock Raider set 4950. looks like it says part no. 2951??? If not I'll see if I can figure it out, being my first part I'll probably have a lot of questions during the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Pattern #'s

(...) The are no fixed rules, as the pattern numbers are specific to LDraw - they're not TLG reference numbers. So generally, first-come-first-served, but where the same pattern appears on several parts (like some of the P68s - M:Tron) an attempt is (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Pattern #'s

OK, after just getting into this, and finally getting the hang of how part numbers are found, I've hit another snag. I pulled out an old set (circa 92) and found a part that was printed on that wasn't in the parts list. I'd like to "dummy" it up in (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
